This privacy policy is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records. It does not require any physical, electronic or digital signature. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data of Information) Rules, 2011.
We are also reviewing and aligning our practices with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it as they come into force. Where this Policy and our Data Policy differ, the more protective practice applies.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains the policy of Finnoto Solutions Private Limited - a private limited company incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 2013, CIN U72900KA2022PTC165727, with registered office at No. 46/1, Bhattarahalli Village, Virgo Nagar PO, Bangalore, Karnataka, India 560036 (“we”, “us”, “our” or “Finnoto”) - regarding the collection, use, disclosure and transfer of your data via the Finnoto website and digital platforms.
By using the website, you indicate that you understand, agree and consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. You hereby provide your unconditional consent to Finnoto as provided under Sections 43A and 72A of the Information Technology Act, 2000. You may revoke consent for providing sensitive information by writing to Finnoto support; Finnoto may then discontinue services that depend on such information.

Finnoto collects personally identifiable information only as part of a voluntary registration process, online survey, or a combination thereof. The site may contain links to other websites; Finnoto is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites it does not own or control. The site and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies together to inform, optimise and serve ads based on past visits to the site.
In serving you, Finnoto may use or store your precise geographic location, if you give us permission to do so. We do not use or share this data for any other purpose, and only share location information with others as approved by you.
Finnoto uses your personal information to provide personalised features and promotional offers, to get in touch when necessary to provide requested services, and to preserve transaction history as governed by law or policy. We follow a policy to store payment records in a cloud-based environment using third-party infrastructure service providers.
Finnoto will not use your financial information for any purpose other than to complete a transaction with you. We do not rent, sell or share your personal information, and will not disclose personally identifiable information to third parties, except where you have given permission to provide products or services you have requested and such information is necessary to provide them. Where information is shared with vendors and contractors, their use is limited to those purposes and subject to confidentiality agreements. We generally do not share personally identifiable information with other companies for ad targeting.
Under special circumstances, Finnoto may share information to help investigate, prevent or take action regarding unlawful activities, suspected fraud, threats to safety, violations of its terms, or to defend against legal claims - including compliance with subpoenas, court orders, or requests from legal authorities.

Connect to an external service: Required to link with external services so the app can read or write data efficiently for the creation of expenses and reimbursements based on data received in Gmail, while ensuring the security of your information. It is essential for accessing business and vendor details to raise expenses and send them to the right recipients.
View your email messages and settings: Enhances the app’s ability to fetch and manage data for comprehensive expense management within Gmail. We use message IDs to retrieve and process Gmail data for the creation of expenses/reimbursements, ensure efficient receipt saving and data restoration, and allow users to reopen emails and visualise the created expense/reimbursement card. We do not access or ask for extra information beyond what is required for this functionality.
Finnoto’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you share personal information with us that we did not request during registration (whether mandatory or optional), we will not be liable for any information security breach or disclosure relating to such information.
