AP use case · Order-to-cash

No POD, no payment.
Simple as that.

In B2B fulfilment, payment follows paperwork: the appointment honoured, the e-way valid, the POD signed and filed. Finnoto orchestrates the dispatch chain and captures the proof - because collections are won at the loading dock.

Why it's hard today

Fulfilment failures become
finance problems.

A missed slot is a penalty; an expired e-way is a detention; a lost POD is an unwinnable dispute - all discovered by finance, months later.

Appointments are penalty triggers

QC and modern-trade slots are unforgiving. Missed appointments cascade into penalties, rescheduling costs and fill-rate damage.

E-way validity in transit

Distance-based validity plus real-world delays: an expired e-way bill in transit means detention, penalty and a compliance mark.

PODs decide disputes

Every shortage and damage dispute ends with one question: show me the POD. Paper PODs in a courier's glovebox lose disputes by default.

The Finnoto difference: dispatch telemetry, compliance documents and PODs live on the same order record that drives your invoice, GRN match and dispute - one chain of custody.
How Finnoto runs it

The paper trail,
captured as it happens.

1
Book & sync appointments
Slots booked and synced with buyer portals; conflicts and at-risk slots flagged before they're missed.
2
Guard compliance in motion
E-way validity tracked against live transit; extensions filed before expiry, not after detention.
3
Capture POD digitally
Signed PODs photographed or e-signed at delivery, OCR-checked and filed against the order automatically.
4
Feed the money loop
Gate-in and POD events feed GRN matching, shortage claims and collections - no missing-paper disputes.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace our TMS or 3PL systems?

No - it orchestrates above them. Carrier and TMS events flow in; Finnoto adds the buyer-appointment, compliance and proof-of-delivery layer that ties fulfilment to payment.

How are PODs captured at delivery?

Driver app photo capture, courier API feeds, or buyer-portal downloads - normalised, OCR-verified against the invoice, and stored against the order for the full retention period.

What happens when an appointment is about to be missed?

Finnoto flags the at-risk slot from ETA drift, triggers rebooking through the buyer portal where supported, and logs the cause - so penalties get prevented or disputed with evidence.
